Hello everyone,

i want to model a contact of an Eulerian Material with a Lagrangian Surface using the CEL Method with Abaqus 2025. Since that method does not support the thermal interaction, I am trying to write a subroutine.

First, I need to know what elements are in contact with fluid. Therefore I want to evaluate, where CPRESS (or CFNM) > 0 but I can't find a subroutine that supports that. With VUSDFLD and VGETVRM I can't load CPRESS (or CFNM), VFRICTION does not support Eulerian material surface, VFRIC does not support the General Contact, that is needed to calculate the Eulerian Lagrangian Contact.

Is there any possibility to solve that issue within a subroutine? My last option would be to read the .odb files and generate restart files but I thought i might solve it within one simulation.
