I am currently performing a structural simulation of a walkway platform using the Linear Structural Validation app. The platform is verified according to Eurocode.

For the Ultimate Limit State (ULS), the dead load (self-weight) must be applied with a partial factor γG = 1.35.

How is this factor correctly applied in the app — by scaling the gravity load, increasing the material density, or through a load combination?
