I am new for abaqus. I tried a euler buckling problem, which is simulating a compressed sheet, theoretically, when the compression is large enough, the sheet will buckle, but in the simulation, the sheet always remains flat. I guess the plane will not automatically go out of plane, if all the BCs and loads are in the plane. Anyone could help? Thanks very much.
