I am running Abaqus 6.14 explicit with user subroutines to evaluate a 4 step model. I am intermittently getting error code 3 coming up at the start of step 4. The user subroutine must be fine as it evaluates the first 3 steps, and sometimes it will run the whole way through, then I do the exact same run, and it hits the error. I have tried dropping back to 3 steps with more complex amplitudes to replicate both steps together, but then the error starts appearing at the start of step 3. The only changes between the steps are boundary conditions. Has anyone any experience with this error and any reasonable solutions
