Hi at all,

i am trying to make boundary conditions similar to periodic boundarys, like mentioned in many papers.

so far i have found out, that normally this is done by *EQUATION command, and reference points. 

following this, i tried to create such a setting. but unfortunately, it doesn't work. the figure attached, shows my problem. the right side is fixed in x-direction. my equation command is:

"side left",1,-1

"reference point",1,-1

as the reference point is fixed too, i think the displacement on the left side should be zero too. but obvously it is not... looks somehow like hourglassing...
