I am simulating a longitudinal beam which fixed on one side and pulled (displacement BC) on the other side. The analysis step is a transient fully coupled temp-displacement step in Abaqus/Standard. The initial temperature has been defined as a predefined field (value: 20 K in Initial Step and the value is calculated in subsequent step)
The time dependent deformation is not resulting in any change in temperature. However, as per the balance of internal energy, there should be a change in temperature due to the second (couple)-term:

Anyone has any idea as to what I'm doing wrong? All relevant material parameters and model constants (Absolute temperature and Stefan-Boltzmann constants) are defined.
