Hello, I'm wondering if there is a way to "force" Abaqus to number specific nodes in an arbitrary manner without going into the input file and modifying the mesh. I know the "renumber nodes" option is available for meshes not associated with any geometry, but I was wondering if there is an analog or workaround for meshes created from a geometry. To provide more context, I am trying to renumber the mesh of a square domain (in which the mesh is not necessarily structured) such that each corner of the domain is numbered 1-4. In the figure, this means the changing nodes 5, 25, and 21 to 2, 3, and 4, respectively. I understand that this may be impossible, as meshing algorithms are a science in their own right, but I figured I'd ask on the off chance that this functionality exists. Thank you!
