I had simulating Drop test for Riveting Gun Case which is Plastic whose yield is 50 MPa and UTS is 60 MPa. since i dont have plastic properties iam using Bilinear plastic properties which is 50,0 and 60, 0.15. Iam doing this in abaqus Explicit, I had defined 1 sec. and gravity load for gun case and modelled floor as rigid body. I had even included damage initiation and evoluation properties(assumed values). Here my question is how can i define delete failed elements in abaqus deck. so once the gun case impacted the floor the failed elements should get removed as of now i dont see that behaviour in my results, i can see stress is 60 MPa and strain is also very high than defined.
