I have a small question with respect to the concentrated load in Abaqus. If I apply a concetrated load to a node set which has certain number of nodes along a line, does it mean that the applied load Amplitude 'A' gets divided over the number of the nodes (force on each node=A/n if n is number of nodes) or the value 'A' is applied on each node?

My understanding is that the Amplitude 'A' is applied on each node of nodeset. However, concentrated load also has an option of Analytical field which allows to Change the Distribution of force?

Could somebody clear this up?
