Hi, I am planning to automate Abacus model via Python. A number of solids will imported from CAD package as parts, and then python script will be used to create mesh and apply loads etc. I have solid experience with Python and FEM but not with abacus in particular. I went through user’s guide and googled a bit on nett. However, I have not found any way to show solid, edge or vertex ID of imported solid in display view (I was expecting to display text at certain location in solid, on surface, edge or vertex). The main purpose is to verify python scripting since amount of solids can be quite big. I am just wondering if such opportunity exist. Is it a way around to display text in 3D? Thanks for help in advance.
