Hello everyone,
Initial Situation:
I have an issue regarding defining an appropriate coordinate system and stacking direction for my model.
Below is an image illustrating the issue. In Case 1, I was able to define a cylindrical datum coordinate system for ring-shaped cells where:
- 1 in the radial direction
- 2 in the tangential direction
- 3 along the cell's axis of rotation
- The stacking direction aligned with the 3rd direction
Problem:
Now I need to adjust my datum axes so that:
- 1. along the cell’s axis of rotation
- 2. in the tangential direction (unchanged)
- 3. in the radial direction
- The stacking direction still aligns with the 3rd direction
I tried to achieve this by applying an additional rotation of -90° to the 2nd axis, but my model and the routine I received do not allow this. Please, I am looking for a method to define a suitable datum axis for the Case 2 in the picture.
Thank you in advance for your help
Best regards
Arold
