Hi,

From the abaqus manual and videos pertaining to contact I see that its better to move one of the two bodies in contact towards the other to ensure contact and prevent chattering. Is there a way to do this if the contact is a cylindrical surface with another similar surface (like a soild cylinder in ground). I dont think moving the cylinder to one side will solve the problem as the contact must be circumferential . Is there any way to do this ?
