Dear all!

I want to simulate the compression test of the structure as shown in the 1st image using the Explicit Dynamic step. There is cyclic symmetry in the structure. Having known that we can't select the cyclic symmetry to apply from the GUI of Abaqus in an Explicit dynamic step, I want to know can I use displacement boundary conditions to mimic the cyclic symmetry (Normal displacement to the symmetric face = 0) on the 1/8th of the model as shown in the 2nd image?
