Hello All,

I am trying to cut a mesh. Let me describe in detail the problem I have:

1) I import a model into Abaqus. It is an .inp file with a meshed part, materials and sections. 

2) I import a new part into the model above. 

3) I want to cut the mesh using the imported part. 

4) After I cut the mesh, I still want the meshed part to retain its assigned material properties.

Any suggestions on how to do this would be most appreciated.
