I have installed CST Studio Suite 2026 Learning Edition on Windows 11, but the modeler crashes when I try to use it.
I investigated the issue using Windows Event Viewer and found the following:
- Blocked DLL:
C:\\Program Files\\CST Studio Suite 2026\\AMD64\\MeshImportLib_AMD64.dll - Process:
modeler_AMD64.exe - Event ID: 3077 — Microsoft-Windows-CodeIntegrity
- Status:
0xC0E90002 - Policy:
VerifiedAndReputableDesktop - Matching Event ID 3089:
TotalSignatureCount = 0,PublisherName = Unknown - The downloaded CST installer has a valid Dassault Systèmes digital signature.
- Windows Smart App Control is enabled.
Could someone please clarify whether MeshImportLib_AMD64.dll is expected to have no digital signature? If this is an installation or compatibility issue, is there an official fix or updated installer that works while keeping Windows Smart App Control enabled?
I have not manually modified or replaced any CST files.
