I hope you are doing well. I currently want to calculate the power capacity of the patch antenna. My own perspective is, as power increases, substrate temperature increases. As a result, the material is prone to break down and also the increase of temperature will change the resonance frequency and the antenna gain. The last thing I could do is calculating the thermal distribution in the substrate due to the increase of power. However I can't see the effect of that on the resonance frequency and gain. My question is how to use CST Studio Suite to observe the change in gain and resonance frequency due to increase of power?
