I'm using CST PCB studio to model my PCB with passive components. When I'm using 2DTL or 3DPEEC parametric extraction, it shows the following warning and the generated block does not contain the components.
Circuit model insertion failed (pins not connected to mesh) for component XXX
However, when I use SI FD analysis, everything works well, and I assume it uses the same 2DTL extraction, right?
My components are three-terminal composite devices with RLC inside as below. What could the problem be and what should I do to correctly insert the models? Thank you!
