Hey everyone!

Can anyone help me with a few questions regarding the import of an object from a CST Studio Suite file to another file with keeping all my parameters from my original object?

My problem: I have built an object in a project but noticed that my settings for the solver etc. are not quite appropriate. I've now found a good template in the example library that works really well for my type of problem (suitable solver, mesh, macros etc.). Therefore I would like to take all these settings from this example file and apply them to my original project. Is that possible?

My second idea was to just import my object into the example file. However, when I import my object as a subproject, I cannot change the object's parameters anymore. Is there any way to import my object with all the parameters etc.?

I've also tried putting the whole object in the schematic section because then all the parameters are preserved. Unfortunately, I can't delete the original object/block from the example file. Is there a way to change the main component in this schematic section and delete the original object/block?
