In CST Studio Suite , I’ve imported an antenna model in STEP format (first image), as shown in the attached image. I’ve defined the materials properly and positioned the component over the PCB footprint using the “Transform” tool.

Is this placement sufficient for CST to recognize an electrical connection between the antenna pins and the copper pads on the PCB? Or do I need to explicitly define a union or contact between the bodies?

In short, how does CST ensure that the antenna legs are electrically connected to the copper layout?
