I am working with an antenna array and need to apply different phases to each element. I need to control the phase of each radiation pattern individually..
However, when I attempted to set different phases for each antenna element, the software indicated that I could not visualize the individual radiation patterns with their corresponding phases. Evaluating each antenna's radiation pattern with its specific phase is crucial for my analysis. When using the 'Simultaneous excitation' type, I only obtain the combined radiation pattern, and I am unable to isolate and observe the individual patterns.
Since I need to optimize the antenna, I cannot excite and combine the elements sequentially. The optimization process must calculate the performance of all elements simultaneously, and improve antenna performance by adjusting the input excitation phase of each element.
How can I solve this problem?
