Hi everyone,

I am trying to simulate a 2D photonic crystal and would like to see its far field flux transmittance and reflection. I have two ports ZMin and Zmax and my understanding is that I need to square the S-Parameters ZMax(2)ZMax(2) and ZMin(2)ZMax(2), for reflectance and transmittance, respectively.

What I do not quite understand is what do the numbers in the parentheses refer to? Given that it goes from 1 to 18, I assume it is related to the Floquet mode which is also set to 18, but what does it mean physically? If Floquet mode is Bloch boundary condition, does it mean that it is basically angle of illumination?
