Hello all,

I have never used the field source monitor in CST Studio Suite  , I am doing so in a PIC simulation of a magnetron. There is not much information on these monitors in the help docs, so it has been a lot of trial and error. I have fixed all errors and warnings I get regarding the field monitors.
 

Now, after the sim runs, I see an .ffm file of the field source monitor's name that is thousands of KB, indicating everything worked and field data was saved at the specified frequency. However, the .fsm file I need to use in other simulations never appears to be completed as it is only ever 1 KB. My question is; has anyone else encountered this issue with the .fsm file seemingly never properly written? If so, was it a post-processing error, or something with the monitor setup?
