Dear sir/madam,
I have been working on the following problem:
- Two identical antenna arrays simulated 1 m apart – time domain solver.
- Use of equivalent model of one antenna of array in the presence of the equivalent model of one antenna of the other array again at distance 1 m. To get the equivalent model I used the standard procedure in CST Studio Suite by placing field sources monitor, recording the fields and then using it in another simulation to represent the original antenna.
Thus, I would like to compare the coupling coefficients between the equivalent models with the ones from the simulation of the original arrays. However, when using the equivalent models (I use the integral solver) I get F fs1,fs2 and Ffs2, fs1. I read the CST documentation about the F parameters, but I could not get it exactly how to derive the S parameters from the obtained F parameters. I could come up with some normalization, but I am not 100 % convinced that it is correct.
Can you please help me?
Thank you
