According to Smith Purcell Radiation (SPR), when a continuous electron beam passes over the metallic grating period, the electron beam will be bunched and coherent SPR will be generated.
Here i am trying to simulate this, but i am not getting the same result as the paper - https://www.egr.msu.edu/~pz/spfel.pdf (Fig.1, Fig. 5)
In the paper, MAGIC PIC 2D code was used. Do you anyone have any idea how i can get the same result as the mentioned paper?
N.B. I do not want to use pre-bunched beam.
