CST - Defining a Waveguide Port at the End of a Dual-Ridged Waveguide

Hello,

I am currently working on defining a waveguide port at the end of a dual-ridged waveguide with a fully rectangular geometry. However, I am encountering some difficulties because the geometry leads to very small cell sizes and edge-constrained faces, making the meshing process and overall computation quite complex. As a result, I am having trouble defining the waveguide port properly.

Could you please advise on the best way to define a waveguide port for this type of structure while keeping the mesh size reasonable and computationally efficient?

I’ve heard about mesh helper structures in CST Studio Suite (such as the objects generated in some Antenna Magus designs) that allow designers to reduce or control the mesh size. Can they be used in this structure?

Thank you very much for your guidance and support.
