Hi!

I was attempting to run a cosimulation in ABAQUS 6.13 and got the below error message. Has this happened to anybody else, and if so, how did you go about fixing it? After it first occurred, I attempted to alter the communication timeout parameter in the co-execution manager from 10 minutes (the default value) to a greater number; however, after saving the change, it would go back to 10 minutes. I talked to ABAQUS, and they said alter the environment file to specify a cosimulation_timeout=xxx; however, I did not see this parameter in the environment file. Please advise. Thanks.

Please check the .dat, .msg, and .sta files for error messages if the files exist.  If there are no error messages and you cannot resolve the problem, please run the command "abaqus job=support information=support" to report and save your system information.  Use the same command to run Abaqus that you used when the problem occurred.  Please contact your local Abaqus support office and send them the input file, the file support.log which you just created, the executable name, and the error code.
