I do nonlinear buckling analysis of a stiffened panel. The model gives good results under compressive loads (static-Riks). However, when I apply out-of-plane pressure in a first separate step (general-static) then followed by the in-plane compressive loads in a separate second step (static-Riks), I always have a convergence error. 

What do you recommend to solve this problem?
