I’ve been attempting to recreate this scenario in 3DExperience, but I’m struggling to define the contact correctly. Despite trying all possible variations, the contact consistently deforms during preprocessing and ends up looking similar to what’s shown in the picture below. This represent displacement at T=0s.
I’m unsure if this issue arises from an error on my part or a potential bug in the contact initialization. The scenario is explicit and axisymmetric, involving rigid geometries for the punch and holders, while the deformable blank consists of shell elements.
