I would like to constraints 2 nodes (or 2 node sets) together. The displacements of the first node are the same as the second node but not the rotational degree of freedom. I want to control rotational stiffness of the first node by assigning the value directly (like 0 = free rotation, 1 = no rotation).

I used TIE constraints with "no rotation" which is equivalent to pin connection(free rotation)for the first node to the second node. I also can use TIE constraints without "no rotation" which is equivalent to fixed connection between the first node and the second node.

How can I do to control the rotational dof from free to very stiff(no rotation)?
