I'm playing with moment/rotation connectors that fail under a certain rotation. Failure upper bound is down as 0.135 but despite relative rotation (in the relevant DOF) exceeding 0.25 failure is not occurring. I have moment based failure criteria that are working fine. I assume the problem in some way relates to the "relative" aspect but this far have not figured out the problem. Can anyone suggest what the issue might be? I'm assuming I have some aspect of the connector set up incorrectly. Analysis is Dynamic Implicit.
