I have an application I'm trying to model in Abaqus, where a compressible gas (helium) is flowing through an relatively stiff porous material (a metal) and the pressure ranges are high enough that pressure-volume effects are significant. One common way to treat the problem, analytically, is to use a formulation where the square of pressure satisfies a diffusion equation. I've looked through the porous fluid documentation, and tried several porous runs, but I don't see a way to include an ideal gas as the percolating fluid.
