Hi, I need help with specifying the following loading and boundary conditions for FEA of an 8 plies composite plate using Abaqus. Nx=100 N/m; Ny=0 N/m; Nxy=0 N/m; Mx=10 N-m/m; My=5N-m/m; Mxy=0 N-m/m. I do not know how to apply the loads and moment, and I also want help on how to specify the boundary conditions. I have used the CLPT in an excel spreadsheet to compute the ply stresses and strains and I need to do it in abaqus to compare the results. Kindly help me. If you can provide me with step by step process, I will appreciate.
