Hi, how does Abaqus calculate the plastic strain tensor components from the logarithmic strain tensor?

I understand that the logarithmic strain tensor is obtained by first obtaining the principal stretch tensor and taking the natural logarithm of this diagonal tensor, but how is this decomposed exactly into elastic and plastic components?
