Hello,

I have been having a problem with a thermal simulation I am running. For some reason, if I specify a particular step, "step 1", that I want to be applied to a boundary condition, "BC-1", set up everything else, and submit the job, I receive an error that "stress displacement elements or other elements without temperature degree of freedom are not allowed". When I go back to check my boundary conditions, I find that "BC-1"'s step has been changed to a different step, "step 2". Might this be the cause of the problem, and why is ABAQUS doing this? I have gotten essentially the same simulation to work before, same boundary conditions/steps, just with a slightly differently shaped part with no problem. (previously, I made a toroid with temperature 296 on its surface at step 1, 455 at step 2, with density, thermal conductivity, and specific heat specified, and now am just trying to do the same with a cylinder).
