I am pulling out a cap from an assembly using boundary displacement, when i see the reaction force, some nodes are resulting in positive force and some are resulting in negative force. Since the entire cap is moving in 1 direction i don't know why we are getting the forces in the opposite direction. the element normal's are consistent and displacements are same along the nodes.
