I have a VUMAT file that works in 6.14 for all the simulations that I intend to solve. But when I use the same file in 2019 version of ABAQUS (which is properly linked with compilers), I am able to run it for single element study. But as the problem becomes complex, it does not run. The error is related to element distortion which means the stability of the model. I have checked the subroutine syntax interface in both 6.14 and 2019 ABAQUS. They are same. Can someone tell me if the VUMAT written for 6.14 version of ABAQUS, become incompatible for the newer version? Thanks
