    There's a basic physic question, but I'm confused. The simple model is shown as below.

    The foam-like part was compressed to the specific ratio by using one indenter. So we can extract the CFN and CFT from the contace surface of the foam-like part in Abaqus ​​​​​​​.

  So my question is that, how much force should provided by the indenter to compress the foam ?  CFN or CFT ?
