Abaqus - Unwanted vibrations in rubber contact subjected to shear force

I am trying to simulate a soft rubber block subjected to a shear force by sliding a rigid body tangentially. The contact is frictional (penalty + friction coefficient defined). Due to large deformations and hourglassing issues that I have faced previously, I also have enhanced hourglass control enabled and I am trying to decide between Distortion Control vs ALE adaptive meshing (if anyone has any inputs on this, that would be a bonus and greatly appreciated too).

The main issue that I am facing and want to address in this post is that the rubber oscillates a bit every time there is relative motion occurring between the soft rubber and rigid body that is sliding along it (think of a jello being tapped slightly). Does anyone have any inputs as to why this might be happening, and how to fix this?
