Hi all,

I am looking for a way to damp out the transient phase in a dynamic implicit abaqus simulation (to be coupled with star ccm+ CFD solver in a co-simulation). My idea was to use mass proportional Rayleigh damping in the first load step, and then turn it off in the next step. However, Abaqus doesn't seem to support this functionality. 

Advice and tips on other ways to achieve this effect will be much appreciated.
