Hello everyone !

I am new to Abaqus, I am performing a tensile test on a solid ring for a research project. I had decided to create a ring and a hook so I can fix the hook but it is proving difficult to assemble them. Is it possible to just perform the tensile test on the ring itself without any extra parts and how would I go around this? or am I taking the wrong approach.
