I am using Abaqus2020 on a Linux Cluster. Whenever I want to restart a simulation from a previous result, I get the following error:

ValueError: SymbolicConstant name '\\xa3i\\xbc\\x11US_STANDARD' may only contain upper case, digit or underscore
 

Similar errors have occured a couple of times in this forum without satisfactory solution. It was suggested that the restart files might be corrupted. I made sure that the previos job finishes correctly. However, the previous solution always contains a casename.lck file with the content:

casename.odb
Analysis Input File Processor
Abaqus/Standard Analysis

... which might indicate that the previous solution was not written out correctly. 

The error is reproducable with a minimal working example of a very simple Abaqus standalone testcase. I therefore expect it to have something to do with the Abaqus implementation on the cluster.
