I am using the Abaqus software to investigate the effect of fluid injection on in-situ stress (in porous media). In fact, I want to investigate the effect of pore pressure changes during underground hydrogen storage on in-situ stress change in depleted gas reservoirs. I have a technical question and I could not find the answer in the Abaqus manual. I would be really grateful if anyone could help me.
In my project, I have a soil step to have coupled pore pressure and stress and I want to apply a constant flow rate injection at a specific node as a load or boundary condition. I know that I can introduce the flow velocity at a node or at a surface but these options are not working for my cases (I don't have the surface area). I want to match the numerical result (Abaqus Result) of point source fluid injection in infinite porous media with an analytical solution. In the Analytical solution, we have a constant flow rate at a point or node (Green Point source loading) and that's why I want to apply the constant flow rate at a node in Abaqus.
