Hello,

I have a complex model. It has intricate features and a lots of partition for mapped meshing. However, it has has some level of symmetry. So I modeled 1/8th of an part and meshed it. However, when I mirror it (Shape > Transform > Mirror), neither the properties nor the mesh get replicated. It is very very time consuming to re-assign properties and do the re-meshing for the whole geometry.

I have experience using other CAE/FEA software which allows mesh mirroring. Not sure why Abaqus do not have this feature or may be I am not aware of an alternatives (like calling the same part instances in Assembly and completing the model there by tie-constraints).

Can someone advice or comment on suggest anything ? Thanks !
