Hi all,

I have to simulate the warming of a power cord due to a high voltage current flow considering the cooling effect of a surrounding air flow. My first job is now to find out which would be the right software for this simulation and I'm wondering if Abaqus the right tool for that. I'm not experienced with Abaqus and so I'm asking the community. For the Joule-heating part of the problem I found the "coupled thermal-electric" procedure in the Abaqus docs. But is there also the possibility to manage the air flow problem with Abaqus or would it be possible or even better to couple it with an external flow solver?
