I want to simulate a simple uniaxial tension test for a simple clamped-free bar (2D) with the Neo-Hookean model and find the stress-strain curve (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neo-Hookean_solid#/media/File:CompNeoHook.svg). When I apply uniform stress as input load on the free side, the simulation does not converge but with applying the related strain as input (boundary condition), it converges. Does anyone know what is the reason?
