I want to set value of state variable to zero for all the material-points until a Particular temperature has been reached at those material-points after which the state-variable values remains to 1 and unchanged. From GUI I am only able to assign the number of STATE-variables for my problem, but I am not able to assign them any Initial values. 

Is there any way to initialize the STATE-variables before updating them inside a user-subroutine.
