How can we reduce the size of the ".stt" file for a very large mesh. Even if we use the overlay restart option and reduce a lot the output the STT file becomes prohibitively large for use in shared clusters. 

For 500000 elements with 6 degrees of freedom per element and a 2GB ODB file I get 700-800GB STT file. Is there a way to decrease the size of file to the normal values?
