Hi all,
I have been facing this error "There is no material left in SLIPRING connector element" in my Abaqus/Explicit simulation with slipring connectors. A nonlinear elastic behavior is defined. The distance between the two end points of the slipring is of the same order as the initial distance. Can someone please help me understand the cause for this error and how to solve this?
More info: One end of this slipring connector has no material flow through it and the other end is connected to just one more slipring which does not change in length. Other end of this second slipring has no material flow.
