Hello all, I am trying to model single point cutting in abaqus/explicit and I am facing system error 3. Could someone help me please? I am using very small tet elements ( 2.5*2.5*6 um) because it is a micromiching process. I am also using variable mass scaling. I noticed that there are a numerous amount of distorted elements, however when when i try see the results until the simulation failed, i cannot see any distorted elements. The simulation was failing previously just because of distorted elements, so I tried using distortion control and then system error 3 happened. Also, I looked into my .dat and status file and could not see anything related to this that could help me solve this issue.
