Hi,

I am simulating metal rolling via Abaqus/Explicit. One boundary condition that I write down when doing analytical pen/paper work is the no flow through the boundary condition (v.n=0) where v is the velocity vector of the sheet and n is the normal vector to the surface of the sheet, i.e., no material flows perpendicular to the surface of the sheet.

However, I do not know how to enforce this condition when making my simulation in ABAQUS/Explicit. I naively thought it would be satisfied automatically when I made the simulation.

Does anyone know how I can implement this boundary condition? I can't find anything online or in the documentation.
